Growing up in Paris
and spending her childhood years playing with gems in her grandfather’s store, it is easy to see where Geraldine Samuel’s love of jewelry comes from.
With the launch of her first collection, it is apparent that all of those days spent with her grandfather at his shop Fred’s Joaillier in Paris have paid off.
“As far as I can remember, I have always had gems and jewelry in front of my eyes. This is what I know and what I love,” says Geraldine Samuel. “I designed my first collection at 9 years old and have never stopped since.” As a fourth generation jeweler, the Samuel name has been synonymous with luxury and now Geraldine is making the family proud with her innovative, yet timeless designs.
THE PASSION IN HERITAGE
Representing the 4th generation of a line of jewelers, Géraldine Samuel grew up between Paris and Provence, in the world of fine jewelry. Very early on, she became passionate about creation.

“As a child, I designed princess dresses, like all little girls, but with the jewelry that went with them.”
Her grandfather advises her, shares with her the secrets of the trade, creates the first jewelry that she designs: “He trusted my taste and my imagination.” And gives him his first watch “Une Tigress, from FRED of course! ".
Today Géraldine perpetuates the family jewelry tradition, a heritage that allows her to adorn her creations with her own influences by drawing inspiration from tradition to better break the codes and reinvent the art of jewelry.
